BioNexus – India’s largest plant microbe library.

BioNexus is our ambitious project to build a pan-India functional microbial library focused on plant trait improvement. Today, we proudly host the largest plant microbe library in India, with over 17,000 microbes collected from 400 different locations. This rich collection has the power to improve drought tolerance, boost disease resistance, and increase crop yields.

The plant microbiome plays a key role in helping crops survive stress in plants caused by both biotic and abiotic factors. These beneficial microbes can be used in many ways—from seed treatments and crop probiotics to inclusion in plant breeding programs.

BioNexus also supports the development of natural farming products, including botanical extract biostimulants, beneficial biostimulants, and Biofungicide Products. These solutions promote healthier growth naturally without relying on harmful chemicals.
